Skills Courses and Short Trips

Canoe Kayak and Paddle Company will reschedule your paid skills course or short trip for up to 12 months following the original scheduled date if you notify us of your cancellation by the fourth (4th) calendar day preceding the skills course or trip. Your skills course or trip fee will be refunded on request if you notify us of cancellation by the seventh (7th) calendar day preceding the trip. 

Instructor Workshops

Canoe Kayak and Paddle Company will reschedule your paid Instructor Workshop for up to 12 months following the original scheduled date if you notify us of your cancellation by the seventh (7th) calendar day preceding the skills course or trip. Your Instructor Workshop fee will be refunded on request if you notify us of cancellation by the thirtieth (30th) calendar day preceding the trip. This is necessary due to mandatory minimum course ratios and advance planning of staff and gear.

Long and/or Out-of-State Trips

A few of our longer, more logistically complex trips require significant advance planning and sometimes commitments with third parties for equipment and/or arrangements. On occasion, CKAPCO may need to establish trip-specific cancellation and refund policies to meet that individual occasion. Such modified policies will be stated on the trip description on our website and made clear in our correspondence during trip planning.
