Mason Neck Wildlife Refuge:
        Kane's Creek  10/29

Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge. Kanes Creek [#T1] trip 3 hours, 2 + miles. easy & exquisite. Paddle north along high clay cliffs collapsing, trees and all, into Belmont  Bay. Pass the wreck and, turn right into a quiet place; eagles, lilies, ospreys and herons. Amazing that this  exists, so close to home.
3 hours, cost $65 w/disc

Algonkian Park Trips, Potomac scenic, adventure and historic : As long as water level, wind , weather and time allow we can take either of these  fun,, interesting  trips.. Fall colors await.

#T1.Paddle down to Seneca Creek, Riley’s Aqueduct, and lock , The Stone mill ruins where the sandstone for the Smithsonian Castle was quarried and cut,  Violette’s lift Lock and river lock, and back to Algonkian  along the banks of  McKee-Bashers WMA . 3 hours cost $65 w/disc -

 #T2.Paddle  Down to Riverbend Park through Seneca breaks or the Old Potomak by-pass canal surveyed by George Washington  in the 1750s or the C&O canal almost to Great Falls. Shuttle back by car. 5 hours Cost $80 w/disc -

NEW Washington Waterfront TRIP:
Launch in the Pentagon’s shadow from Columbia  Marina,  [tides determine route] Explore/hike Historic Roosevelt island, Paddle the Key Bridge Georgetown Waterfront, The real Watergate, Kennedy Center, memorial bridge and  the memorials, Lincoln and Jefferson. Lee Mansion and Washington’s monument look on grandly. Fantastic . Must have L1 and L2 skills,3.5 hours bring Your lunch . Cost $65 w/disc -
