Join Mike and CKAPCO for our 2016 Middle Fork and Main Salmon trips! - Tuesday, December 01, 2015

The Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho is 110 miles of incredibly beautiful wilderness whitewater running through over 2 million acres of the "Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness". We will launch on the Middle Fork  of the Salmon on August 7 - 12 (5 nights, 6 days) down to its confluence with Main Salmon. After spending the night in Salmon, ID, we begin the next  trip on the Main Salmon on August 13 (4 nights, 5 days). The Main Salmon is an additional 80 miles of great whitewater. Mike will be running both sections  so can you opt to run one river, the other or BOTH! You will start your adventure in Boise, ID for either trip in the motel as part of the trip and and will be returned to Boise on August 12th or the 17th (depending on your itinerary) for flights home.

Check out Mike's trip report from the 2014 trip and the video from a couple of rapids on the Middle Fork.
